Our practice is largely informed by two major beliefs: the first is that mental health is not just about problems, it is about learning to take care of ourselves in the best way possible whether we are experiencing a mental health problem or not.
In the same way that we care for our physical health through diet and exercise, we believe that we need to learn how to care for our mental health on an everyday basis.
The second belief that informs our practice is that people have within themselves the resources to be happy and effective in their lives.
We believe that through the application of evidence based psychological interventions, patient’s can tap into their resources to learn coping skills, increase self-understanding, improve their decision-making and problem solving to create such a life.
